Wine, Goldfish, and Fall TV

It’s HERE!!! Finally. Fall TV starts this week. I feel like a kid with fresh new school supplies and a stomach full of excitement jitters. I look forward to this all summer long. When the kids go to bed it’s all about getting my “chores” or workout done quickly, and then grabbing my glass of wine, bowl of Goldfish,  and the TV remote.

I plan out my Fall TV like I’m planning a tour of Italy. I need to fit all the good stuff in. My holy grail came in last week…Entertainment Weekly: Fall TV Preview! Can you hear the church bells ringing? I sat in the break room at work with my pen and calendar in hand. Pathetic. This is truly my enjoyment. From my comedy filled Monday with How I Met Your Mother to my drama filled Thursday with Vampire Diaries (embarrassing I admit), Grey’s Anatomy, and Private Practice. Oh I can’t wait! Is Meredith really getting fired from Seattle Grace? They are all marked on my calendar. I strategize my household duties to make sure I get my shows in. I think I might be the only one that has not bought a DVR, but I like watching it in real-time.

Does anyone else get this excited for TV? Does anyone else map out their week around television? I’m definitely using the CrockPot Thursday. Dinner will be ready when I walk through the door. Easy clean up. Get through the kids routine and then there will be one happy mama sitting on the couch with my two dogs, my wine, my bowl of Goldfish, and three hours of television fry-your brain bliss. Yay!
