I am thankful to have a loving husband who is a wonderful father. His imagination is still like a child’s. Whether we’re fighting dragons together or sailing the high seas to a far away land, he’s at our side. He gets beaten with Nerf swords, piled with blankets and pillows, and has had to be the architect of many, many forts. It’s sometimes hard to tell who is having more fun.
He’s creative, artistic, and adventurous. These are just a few of the things I love about him. I’m thankful to have my best friend still by my side after meeting 15 years ago. He puts up with my “crazy” even when I’m being ridiculous. He still says I’m beautiful when I’ve just rolled out of bed in baggy sweats and my hair on top of my head. He often surprises me with a clean house when I get home from work, even when he’s been home with the kids…and that is just miraculous.
