Your Resolutions for TODAY

Resolutions are often just a way to set yourself up for disappointment. Everyone seems to have the same resolutions. Eat better, exercise more, get organized. What I don’t understand is why they just don’t do it. Why do they have to wait for a New Year? It’s just another day. Things like this irk me a bit. I can’t stand it when people say “I’m going on a diet starting Monday” or “I’m quitting smoking on Monday.” What’s so damn special about Monday? Putting something off till Monday just means it’s something you really don’t want to do. If you plan on doing something you don’t want to do you are setting yourself up for failure. If you WANT to do something start right now! Don’t wait till Monday or the New Year.

My mission TODAY is putting the little guy in big boy underwear. I’m not waiting till I can find boxer-briefs with fish on them or little trains (NOT Thomas). We’re just going to start right now. I can’t wait to get rid of diapers! Wish us luck!

My mission TODAY is to get back to my normal eating habits. I have survived on coffee, wine, and cookies for the past week. My body is not too happy with me right now.

My mission TODAY is to enjoy the day. We don’t know how many of them we all have. So if there is something you want to do…do it TODAY.
