Do you ever look in the mirror and not recognize the person staring back at you? That person staring back at you is looking old, weathered, and totally drawn and almost corpse like. Parents are super-heroes. They need to be so much for so many. Husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, co-workers, bosses, friends, and dragon slayers. Sometimes they lose themselves. They put themselves on the back burner. I seriously just got my first haircut in four months last week. Yeah, that bad. I was looking at myself in the mirror last week and could easily see all the stress and fatigue. Stress and fatigue are the things I try to keep hidden. I shut my mouth and just keep trucking. I try to handle everything that comes at me with ease even though it takes all my might to pull off. Well, looking at myself the other day, yeah it’s not hidden like I thought it was. I look horrible! My complexion has reverted back to middle-school days, the dark circles under my eyes would cast me perfectly in a vampire drama, my energy level has gone caput, and I’m supposed to be training for a 5K. I need to get some control over this. It’s not just mommy brain, it’s mommy entire body.
I was chatting with my cousin the other day, a fabulous single father of two little girls, and he suggested I try this nutrient-packed juice called Mona-Vie. I did some research and figured it couldn’t hurt to try. Loading up on fruits, veggies, and antioxidants can’t hurt. If I can find a juice that defeats mommy brain and gives my body the strength and energy to conquer all without me looking and feeling like a zombie…sign me up! So, I’m going to give it a try and keep you posted on the results. Just the fact that it comes in a wine bottle sold me! Marketing geniuses. Cheers!
