The holiday season has proven to be a busy time for just about everyone. From shopping for gifts, reconnecting with friends and family, to organizing parties – there is a lot to get done.
AT&T has come up with a list of apps that will help take out the stress from planning the holiday season so you can relax and enjoy the festivities with your friends and family.
Keeping track of your family’s wish list can be difficult and overwhelming, but with Giftster – organizing gifts has never been easier. This app lets users set up a registry with lists of gifts for each family member. Once all members have created a list, anyone in the group can browse and reserve a specific gift so there are no overlaps. Real easy.
When shopping for gifts, make sure you always are getting the best price with the RedLasor Barcode & QR Scanner. It allows you to scan the barcode of a product to find the best price, either online or in store.
For those that travel a lot during the holiday season, make sure to download TripIt. This app is helpful in organizing all of your travel plans in one place. This app takes all of those confirmation emails and creates a master itinerary. It even informs you on the local weather, and supplies maps and directions.
When you’re halfway through cooking a big holiday meal and realize that you are out of milk for your mashed potatoes, don’t worry: there’s Substitutions. This app offers substitutions for more than 500 ingredients that are easily searchable by ingredient or category.
For those who really want to get in the holiday spirit, download Christmas Music. This simple app has over 10,000 Christmas songs available at your fingertips for free! With this many songs, you won’t get tired of listening to the same music over and over again.
Finally, for those last few days before Christmas, use the Norad Santa Tracker to see what Santa has been up to and where he is in the world. This interactive app even shows you how many presents Santa has delivered so far. This is a fun app for kids and adults alike. We use this one for our kids.
