I should get a bumper sticker “my in-laws are better than your in-laws.” When people roll their eyes at the word “in-law” I can honestly say that I can’t relate. I love my in-laws!! I got lucky in the in-law department and for that…I am very thankful.

My mother-in-law is the baby guru. She taught me so much about babies. Little tricks of the trade I consider them. She takes care of my boys when I’m working and loves them to pieces. This in it self is a godsend. I don’t know what we would do without her. She’s the “Mema” that gets down on the floor and chases them on her knees. She’s the “Mema” who makes chocolate milk WAY better than mom. It’s so dark it looks like a fudgesicle. She’s the “Mema” that spoils way too often.

My father-in-law. Bless him for picking the boys up and dropping them off when we are in a bind. Bless him for installing my dishwasher. This has changed my life completely. Bless him in helping to restore my 1920s house that driving me and my husband mad.

I am very thankful to them both for bringing their son into the world. For without them I would not have my beautiful family.
