What do snowmen do at night? All that time you spend rolling snow into bolders and finding the perfect sticks for arms and fashioning a nose out of carrot, and the next day it’s a lopsided mess. What happened? Snowmen At Night by Caralyn and Mark Beuhner is a funny little tale that shows you exactly what those snowmen are doing at night and why they never look the same the next day. Who knew snowmen play hard. My boys love this book. Deacon finds it rather hilarious that many of the snowmen have cucumbers for noses instead of carrots. The illustrations by Mark Beuhner are excellent, and you even get to search the illustrations for hidden pictures. We highly recommend this book for a cold, snowy day.

Sounds like a great book for my grandson. Thanks for the review!
This really looks interesting. Will check it out.
I love the idea of hidden items. Even the 5th graders at school still enjoy Where is Waldo?

Sounds cute! I haven’t seen this one. I’ll have to head to the bookstore. This Midwestern born mom is missing the winter and my AZ babes should learn a thing or two about snowmen 😉
I love books like this. Adds just the right touch of magic to a question that would otherwise be simply dull.
Thanks for another great reco 😉
