We started a tradition last year, a family Valentine party. Just the five us, and the two beasts. We get valentine plates and napkins, cook a yummy meal, and of course have treats. We have a little dance party and finish the night off with a movie and popcorn. When I received my assignments last month from The Crafty Collaborative I was really excited to see a cute project that would fit perfect with our valentine party. Felt Valentine Envelopes. They looked like they were straight out of the Pottery Barn Kids catalog…but Pottery Barn Kids didn’t have super awesome alligator textured red felt like I did! I made my envelopes for my valentine boys and they each picked out little decorations for them. A masculine touch.
The christmas stockings came down and the valentine envelopes went up, just waiting for notes of love and sweet chocolates!
Head on over and check out all the felt madness! here
We do an annual Un-Valentine’s Day unPArty “for people who can’t or don’t want to get dates, reservations or babysitters.” 🙂
Love this craft! I made a few for my kids yesterday!
Wow! Super cute!
That is too cute! You are so creative!!
That’s a great idea.
How creative and unique are you? Love this. My daughter and I try to do crafty things on Valentine’s Day and have a family movie night. We love making the holiday all about our kids. We also trade funny gag gifts!
That sounds like so much fun!
Super cute! Love the boy pirate and alligator touches! 🙂
Love it! It’s funny, Valentine’s Day is one of the only holidays where we don’t have a family tradition. I may have to adopt this one 🙂
SO great! I love small notes, instead of gifts of grandeur, for Valentine’s Day- what a great way to package them!
What a cute idea!!! Maybe I’ll make these with my Girl Scout troop!
