In an attempt to share more “me” instead of just my family I decided I would share a few of my other passions. Fitness being one of them. So here I go with some Fitness Friday. No, you won’t be catching me at the gym and hearing about how many squats I’ve done, but I’m going to share with you my fitness secrets. A few tips here and there, workouts I’ve tried, and how I manage to fit it all in. I’ll preface now, I’m no expert.
First and foremost, I don’t have a gym membership. Everything I do is either at home or outdoors. Although I do miss the gym, it’s just not currently in our budget. I’ve managed to figure it out. You don’t need a ton of equipment to get a good workout in. So the first workout I’m going to share with you is a quick 10 minute workout that requires absolutely NO equipment, not even a mat. I stumbled across this one a couple of months ago and it has become one of my go-to livingroom workouts. All I need to do is carve out 10 minutes and I have a total body workout without hitting the gym.
Rainbow planks…yowzers! If you can squeeze in more time, do it twice!
