After having three babies I never thought I would see “ab muscles” again. They were stretched and destroyed and seemed like a lost cause. However, while on my fitness journey the past year I have seen plenty of moms get those little muscles back. It is possible! Last week I was set on finding the perfect ab workout. I found a new one on Fitsugar that had been recently posted. It was only 10 minutes. 10 minutes of pure abs. I figured I would give it a try. I must say it was challenging. After getting through the first circuit I groaned that we had to repeat the entire circuit again! This workout seriously hit every stinking little ab muscle….trust me I felt it for days.
The butterfly crunch was the most challenging for me. It really targeted the upper abdominal muscles. An area my usual ab workout doesn’t hit.
Try it out. The only things you will need are a mat and either two hand towels or two paper plates, depending on your floor surface. Get ready for summer!!
