This video popped up in my YouTube feed last week and I had been dying to try it all week. I finally got the chance last night. It’s a 10-minute cardio/core for tiny spaces. If you have a little apartment, small living room, or an office…this one will work for you. Although if you’re on the second floor your neighbors might be wondering what is going on up there during the high-knee sprints.
I really, really liked this workout. I enjoyed the different combination of moves such as plank-to-pikes, a couple of mountain climber variations, and getting the cardio up with high-knees. You literally only need the surface of a yoga mat to perform all of the moves. No weights needed. To get the most out of this workout you really need to tighten up the abs through each move. I was definitely feeling it half way through. Oh, and for those of you who have never done a one-leg burpee…bless you and good luck. When the words left her mouth I said, “what!?” They were definitely challenging, but they sure did work the entire body.
Space is no longer an excuse now. Give this one a try and let me know what you think.
