Dressing up Dinner with Lemon Caper Sauce

We’re dressing up those boring pork chops tonight. I grew up on the classic Shake n’ Bake pork chop. My mother must have made them once a week. I eventually realized I was doing the same thing with my family…and it was just boring. I needed to change it up. Naturally with pork most people think apples. However, my husband doesn’t like his sweet and savory mixed. I needed to find something different. I then found Giada De Laurentiis’ recipe for a lemon caper sauce for pork Milanese and I fell in love. The only thing I do different is only use half the lemon zest and skip out on the parsley. It is decadent and amazing! Blend the ingredients and top those chops. So simple.

Ingredients:

2/3 cup mascarpone cheese

3 tbls mayonnaise

¼ cup milk

Zest of one lemon

¼ cup of chopped capers

1 tbls chopped parsley

Salt and pepper

lemon caper sauce

lemon caper sauce blend

pork milanese with lemon caper sauce

It adds a whole new dimension to that classic pork chop. Good enough for your next dinner party! You’ll amaze your guests.
