Well my half marathon is this Sunday and I haven’t run more than 4 miles in three weeks due to a darn injury. I have no idea how Sunday is going to go, I’m just hoping my foot feels fine throughout the race. I’m a little bummed that I won’t be running at my best. But it is what it is. In my head I’m thinking that since I haven’t put my running shoes on in a week that I’ll be all heeled and fine.
At least the weather is going to be nice this weekend.
This will probably be my first and last half marathon. I really didn’t enjoy the training, it made running a chore. I use running as an outlet, my own form of mental therapy. I like it that way.

I’m doing a 5k on Sunday and the only thing I’ve trained is my mouth and remote control hand. I’ve been watching TV and eating for weeks, I “trained” at the gym twice. I’m just looking forward to the beers I get after.
Any race with a beer at the end is a great race! Good luck. My husband trained the same way last month and he’s still alive.
