Today was a September Sunday. September is the month I push the reset button. It’s sort of like a New Year, but more like a Spring Cleaning. I washed windows and curtains and scoured the basement for things I could throw out. I cleaned the inside of the refrigerator and started organizing the pantry. I’ve created lists and lists of organizing to-dos…all between football plays.
The kids played outside for a while and then came in and played with those things called TOYS! You see, I KNOW that they know that mom is in September clean mode and whatever hasn’t been played with in a while will be tossed by month’s end. Therefore, they’re playing with ALL the toys. They’ll be needing to support their argument when I go upstairs with my cardboard box.
Here’s to September Sundays. Cheers!
