Summer Movie Preview 2017

It’s ALMOST that time. I couldn’t believe it when the EWeekly issue for the Summer Movie Preview arrived this week. Goodbye cold crappy weather! So what am I excited to see this summer, there are quite a few.

Let’s start with some movies we’ll see as a family.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – May 5th

We literally just watched Vol. 1 this weekend and now we are super excited to see the next installment. I’m hearing great reviews from friends that have already had a sneak peek screening of the film.

Despicable Me 3 – June 30th

The boys saw the trailer when they went to see some other movie and it’s all they can talk about.

Cars 3 – June 16th

Now, I’m not too sure on this one seeing I loved the first one but not the second one. However, they just released the trailer this week and it’s returning to Radiator Springs, and it may be good.

Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales – May 26th

I’ve loved every single of these movies. Love Johnny Depp in this role.

Okay, now strictly for eye-candy and will definitely not pay a theater price to see…

Baywatch – May 25th

You know what I’m saying, right? You’ve seen Zac Ephron lately? Oh, and you can’t lose with the Rock. I have absolutely no idea what the film plot is even about.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword – May 12th

I’ve been anxiously waiting for this one. Another fabulous eye-candy movie with Charlie Hunnam. When I heard Jax was going to be the next King Arthur, lets just say I may have jumped up and did a happy dance. Just maybe.

The House – June 30th

Amy Poehler and Will Ferrell…it’s got to be funny.

What movies are your excited to see this summer?

  1. I would like to see all of the onest you listed except Baywatch, I can’t even begin to see how that would be entertaining. .lol.

I really prefer watching movies at home but may have to venture to the theater this summer.

Guardians of the galaxy- is it appropriate for a 6 1/2 and 9 yr old?

    1. Guardians had a few jokes that went over the kids heads. Age 11, 9, and 8.
