Disclosure: This is a sponsored post, but all the Dunkin’ love is 100% my own.
Does your family run on Dunkin’? Mine sure does. We make our daily stop at our local Dunkin’ every morning on the way to school and work. I think that the entire staff there knows how I take my coffee; iced, milk, no sugar, which is exactly how I’ll be ordering my coffee on May 24th for Iced Coffee Day!
As a Rhode Islander this event is very important to me. Hasbro Children’s Hospital is a vital resource to many, many families. We’ve been fortunate enough not to need any ER visits as of yet, but it’s a comfort to know that such an amazing facility is just a few miles away.
Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee Day started in 2010, and has raised over $1 million dollars for Hasbro since its inception! Last year, Iced Coffee Day raised over $174,000 in donation! I love that with my Iced Coffee purchase, $1 will be donated to Hasbro. In past years, the funds have been used to install a new play area in the pediatric ambulatory clinic, produce activity books for patients, and have helped with other hospital renovations.
Aside from being my daily caffeine fix, I also use Dunkin’ to help my weekly routine run smoothly. For those of you who follow this blog, you know that I’m not a huge fan of making lunches. I literally start a count-down till the end of school when I don’t have to pack lunches anymore! To give myself a much needed sandwich-making break, once in a while I grab Wake-Up Wraps in the morning and pack them into my children’s lunchboxes. They LOVE it! It’s a great treat and so easy.
My family also runs on Dunkin’ on the weekends, especially before heading to the ball field for my son’s baseball game. My husband is currently obsessed with the new Pretzel Croissant Sandwich.
Is your family running on Dunkin’? How will you be taking your coffee on Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee Day?
We don’t have Dunkin’ Donuts here but we are a huge Tim Horton’s family. We go at least once on weekends (and I love my steeped tea during the week)! We’re not allowed to send home baking or foods prepared in a “restaurant” (or coffee shop) – it would be great if we could! I still sneak in the odd leftover pizza slice thought! 😉 I hate making lunches and I love Mondays during the school year – it’s Pizza Day! 😉
I sometimes wish my kids would buy school lunch.
