Little Chefs – Loaded Nachos

We had another little chef in the kitchen making us a fun Friday night meal. Logan gave Loaded Nachos a try and they were delish! It’s something I’ve never made for them before, but he and his brothers LOVE tacos so he figured this would be good crowd-pleaser.

Loaded Nachos were something super easy to make for a novice little chef. He followed the directions on the back of the taco season kit. We used ground chicken, which they all seem to prefer.

Preheat Oven to 400ºF

Make taco meat according to the taco season instructions.

Layer tortilla chips in a baking dish.

Top tortillas with taco meat mixture and your taco toppings: black beans, tomatoes, lettuce, avocado, olives & shredded cheese.

Bake for 10-15 minutes, until cheese is well melted.

Served with a side of sour cream (or plain greek yogurt) and some salsa, this meal was amazing. There was nothing left in the dish when we were done with it. His brother raved and are anxiously anticipating this meal again.
