My son has been dying to run a race with me. I always have to remind him it’s not a sprint, he has to pace himself. I promised that if he would listen and train with me then I would sign him up. Well this is the year. The NINTH ANNUAL FINISH FOR A GUINNESS! Always my favorite race. I can’t wait to share the experience with this guy while raising awareness of ALS.

This year’s event is taking place Sunday, September 3, 2017, at 10:00 AM, in Historic Downtown Warren Rhode Island, at Old Warren Marina | 66 Church Street | Warren RI.

The post-race event will take place at The Old Warren Marina located at the race finish along the waterfront. At the post race event runners will be able to get a free Guinness, review race results at the awards ceremony, and enjoy amazing food from local vendors while enjoying some great music.

Entry Fee:  $27 by September 1, 2017; $30 on race day;  Children under 12 – $15

Number Pick up: Saturday, September 2, 2017, from 12 Noon to 3 PM
at Old Warren Marina, 66 Church St., Warren, RI

Awards: $150 cash prize to top overall male/female runners & free entry for 2018

Awards to the top three male/female finishers in each group:
18 & under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ 

T-shirts to all pre-registered runners

All proceeds benefit the RI and Mass ALS chapters as well as local charitable causes
