No-Bake Protein Bites

Are you working on a healthier lifestyle for 2018? Here is a super easy and healthy recipe for you to try. They make the perfect guilt-free snack.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup peanut butter (or almond butter)

1/4 cup honey

1 cup rolled oats

2 tbsp flax seeds

1 tbsp chia seeds

2 tbsp sliced almonds

Simply combine all of the ingredients into a bowl and then roll the mixture into 1 inch balls. Refrigerate about 15-30 minutes before serving.

You can sweeten them up with a little coconut and mini dark chocolate chips, or add some dried cranberries or raisins. They’re so versatile. Even add a little whey protein if you choose. A couple of these and some fruit and you have breakfast.

Now, to be honest I didn’t think my husband would try them, let alone like them, but he sent me a text saying those Balls are AWESOME! Hopefully he doesn’t read this and find out how healthy they are. That might ruin it.

I like to keep them refrigerated

I hope you give them a try. Check back in and let me know what ingredients you added in.
