Squats are an easy and efficient way to sculpt those legs. You target your quads, glutes, lower back, and the booty. I like to include a variation of squats in my weekly leg workouts, sometimes adding weight. However, it’s important to do them properly. Here are a few videos from professionals to help you perfect my four favorite squats.
Basic Squat
Start with the Basic Squat. Once you’ve perfected this squat you can start adding weight or changing up the variation.
Goblet Squats
Goblet squats are my FAVORITE! Especially with a little weight added to them. Here is the proper way to do a goblets squat.
Plié Squats
I always feel like a ballerina when I do these. I feel these most in the inner thigh area. Here’s a fun 1-minute plié squat challenge to try. I promise a good burn.
Jump Squats
Jump squats are a great way to get that extra cardio in. Make sure you have your basic squat perfected first. Drive through those heels. You’re sure to get that heart racing.
Do you have a favorite squat variation?
I do these every chance I get. Even when I fold laundry! Hahaha…great post. The baby pic….hahahaha…Thanks for sharing.
I do them while making lunches 😉
