DeLIGHTed for Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee Day May 23rd

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post, but all the Dunkin’ love is 100% my own.

I am super excited about this year’s Iced Coffee Day with Dunkin Donuts and Hasbro Children’s Hospital. As with previous years, for every iced coffee sold at Dunkin’ Donuts locations in Rhode Island and Bristol County, Massachusetts, on May 23rd, $1 will be donated to the hospital. However, this year it gets even BETTER!

This year Dunkin Donuts had the bright idea of partnering with a local tradition, Good Night Lights. Each night at 8:30PM, residents, business, and law enforcement say “Good Night” to patients at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. During this magic minute, ambulances, police vehicles, and fire trucks turn on their lights as children watch from their windows at the hospital, often flickering lights right back at them with flashlights. Residents also partake in this good night ritual by flashing car lights or flashlights toward the hospital. It is truly an uplifting exchange letting the kids know that their community is thinking of them and sending love and support.

This year, for Iced Coffee Day, Dunkin Donuts is having a “block party” at India Point Park, where everyone can participate in Good Night Lights. Some Dunkin Donuts locations will be handing out flashlights throughout the first few weeks of May with any purchase. Patrons are encouraged to go and participate in Good Night Lights on May 23rd, and enjoy food, fun, and games while we await the 8:30 minute and send light and hope to the kids at Hasbro.

This annual event has helped raise well over $2 million for Hasbro Children’s Hospital since its inception in 2010. It is AMAZING!

Please be sure to mark those calendars for May 23rd. We hope to see at India Point Park with your flashlights in hand.
