Happy Summer everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying it to the fullest. Here’s a great beach read for you this summer. As you know, I’m a Elin Hilderbrand fan, but I was a little skeptical with this one. It’s a murder mystery, and I don’t think I have ever read a murder mystery by Hilderbrand. Well it did not disappoint. It was a page-turner.
It’s wedding season on Nantucket and the maid of honor is discovered dead on the beach the morning of the wedding. With family secrets being revealed chapter by chapter, it’s a real who done it mystery. Just when you think you know, things turn and new information is revealed. I couldn’t put it down until I knew what happened.
The book is filled with all it’s Nantucket charm of course, making it perfect for summer. So if you want a quick and scandalous read, I highly recommend The Perfect Couple. They may not be that “perfect” after all.
