Snow Tubing Nashoba Valley

We went to the snow tubing park at Nashoba Valley last week and the boys had such a fun time! Well, I shouldn’t say just the boys, I had fun too and actually managed to stay somewhat warm for most of our visit. I personally found the drive up there with five boy scouts in my car the highlight of the trip. I now know so much about Dungeons and Dragons and some game called Mafia, that I feel I am SUPER COOL now.

We checked in rather quickly at the tubing park and embarked on our first run. There was a conveyor belt that pulled you up to the top of the hill, and there were numerous lanes to tube down. Some lanes let you link together with friends…those are the lanes the boys frequented the most after they ditched me at top. I guess I’m not that super cool?

We spent a couple of hours whipping down the hills. Two hours was plenty of time. I’d love to try going back at night when they have the park lit up. I think the boys would really enjoy that.

They topped the day off with hot cider and corn dogs, and we cranked the heat on the drive home and I listened to them laugh the entire trip back. There may have been a homicide by tacos, the suspect was John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt, and he claimed his alibi was bird watching. BOYS are weird. All in all, it was a great day.
