How To Access Ebooks From Your Local Library

Are you missing your local library yet? In all of this “social distancing” we need to keep ourselves from going stir-crazy and from drinking ALL of the wine before this crisis is behind us. Keeping the kids occupied is a challenge in itself. Not being able to go to the local library is a bummer for both them and for me. However, most libraries have ebook collections. I use Overdrive.com to access my state’s library eZone. I’ve been doing this for the past year and I love it!! It also helps with the overdue book fees and it keeps me from buying too many books online. It’s actually really simple.

Go to https://www.overdrive.com/

Go to Find a Library – and find your local library.

To create an account, just input your library card number and set up a pin.

I’m able to put Holds on books I want, download books for 14 or 21 days, and then read them on my Kindle. So EASY!!

You can browse through authors and titles, and find some suggested reading for you. Happy READING!! Stay sane.
