Simple No-Churn Ice Cream

My son got an ice cream machine a couple of years ago. We have used it a few times, but he asks to use it a lot. I would let him, but it requires a lot of salt and crushed ice to operate. I don’t often have both on hand in abundance. We decided to try making a no-churn ice cream and it did not disappoint. It was so EASY!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/4 mini chocolate chips (or whatever you wish, maybe some Oreos or fruit)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl combine the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Set aside.
  2. Using a hand-mixer whip the 2 cups of heavy whipping cream in a separate bowl until it forms peaks.

  1. Fold the ingredients together gently and add in your topping.

  2. Place in a freezer-safe container and freeze for 6 hours.

It came out sweet and creamy. We all enjoyed it. I can’t wait to see what other flavor various Finn puts together. He is a huge Oreo fan, so I see that one happening very soon.
