Twice in a Blue Moon – Christina Lauren

Christina Lauren is one of my favorite author duos. They write fun romantic comedies. I have been catching up on ones I have missed and got this one from my local eLibrary. Twice in a Blue Moon

This is the story of Tate, who meets Sam while on a European vacation with her grandmother. Over two weeks together, they fall in love. Sam is Tate’s first everything; first love, first time, and first heartbreak. You see, she shares a secret with Sam. A secret about her identity that she was instructed by both her mother and grandmother never to tell anyone. Sam sells that secret and disappears.

Fourteen years later Tate shows up onto a movie set as the lead actress. When she meets the screenwriter she is completely surprised. It’s Sam. The boy who broke her heart. To make it even more dramatic, her father is her co-star, and they have never had a very good relationship. He is more concerned with reputation in the media than actually bonding with his daughter in real life. It’s a story of first loves, second chances, and forgiveness.
