I have been naan obsessed lately. I discovered these tiny ones that you can just pop into the toaster. I’ve been using them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks!! Obsessed. Here are my favorite ways to use them.
Naan Pizzas
- Preheat oven to 400ºF
- Bake naan on oven rack for approximately 3 minutes to start getting them crispy.
- Remove naan from oven rack and place on a baking sheet.
- Apply your toppings. Be as basic or creative as you like.
- Bake for approximately 5 minutes.
Breakfast
I just pop one in the toaster and top it with whatever I am fancying that morning. Sunny side up, over-easy, avocado, bacon, goat cheese, even just some jam. I love that it doesn’t get all soggy like bread.
Appetizer/Snacks
This has become one of my FAVORITES. If you check out my recipes in The Kitchen you know I love “Greeking” things up with feta, olives, cucumbers, etc. This recipe does just that and it’s great for a cocktail party. So easy!
- Simply toast the naan.
- Spread a layer of hummus on the naan and sprinkle with some black pepper.
- Mince up a mix of olives (I enjoy green picholine and calamata) and feta, then top the naan.
- I then cut them all up in to small triangles and place on a serving platter.
These are all so easy and so flavorful. I love how versatile such a simple little ingredient is. Have you tried naan before? What are some of your favorite ways to use it?
