About The Author

Hello All. My name is Sheri. I am a working mother of 3 pretty darn fabulous little boys. I’m trying very hard to handle the stresses of working, being a mother, being a wife, keeping house, and finding the time to just laugh and enjoy life. A few things you should know about me: I’m an iced-coffee addict, I love to organize, and I love my wine. I am also a master at fort-building and being the belly-eating monster. Fitness and healthy eating habits are important to me so you may hear a little about that too. Here you will read about my daily musings and of course my venting, wine glass in hand. Hope you find something you can relate to.

If you’re a crafty kind of person, come visit me over at The Crafty Collaborative. Here you will find a group of us ladies reviewing and test driving all the fabulous recipes and DIYs we find on Pinterest. We’ll let you know if they’re worth diving into.

Looking for some good recipes? You can find me on Mom Generations where I contribute some of my all-time favorite recipes!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I found you via Becoming Cliche. I am in a somewhat different place in my motherhood–I have 2 teenage girls. I can’t imagine 3 kids, 3 kids under 6, or 3 boys. I don’t know how we all do it, but we do and they grow and grow in spite of us.

What caught my eye was your iced coffee confession. I am ADDICTED, basically, to frozen blended coffee drinks, so thought I’d share my recipe with you. If you just like ice cubes, this is a no go. But if you like your iced coffee in blended form, you may just take to making this at home. Then again, you may wait until your kids are older because it does take a little time and prep.

Good luck with your blog. Have fun. I don’t think I could even have managed Facebook when my daughters were under 6….

  2. I’m a working mom of only two boys but I look forward to following your blog – and hearing about ANY organization tips for keeping the boys in order – especially how to keep up with all of the toy CARS (ARGH!) Also – I love the masthead or logo – did you design that? Cool!

    1. Thanks for reading. I came across your blog and said – “there’s someone I can relate to!” Oh those cars! They have their own cube in our house, but the whole lot never makes it back into the box…EVER. My husband did the illustration. I’m glad you like it!

  3. You sound a lot like myself…..working mom, although I only have one (right now, however terrible 2s seem like multiple at times). It’s a journey for sure keeping up with the regular mommy/wife duties AND work. I look forward to reading your posts!!

I have recently made the switch to a self hosting site, and unfortunately my followers did not make the switch with me ๐Ÿ™ I’d love it if you could visit my new site and follow me! Thank you for supporting Domestic Superhero! http://www.domesticsuperhero.com

  6. Hey, would you consider reblogging this to your blog! My friends need to raise $18,000 dollars for this adoption. I know this basket won’t bring in that much, but seriously right now she’s only gotten $150 toward it! That’s not nearly enough to give this amazing basket away. I only have a small following. Could you please if I beg pretty and promote you somehow?

    Thanks!!
