I know I’ve been a bit MIA for the past few weeks. Honestly, I’ve almost felt a little lost, not blogging and not getting to my regular blog reads. I miss my fellow bloggers….I promise I’ll catch up on your posts. I could go on and on about my absence and complain about all the stupid things that have happened lately, but all I’ll say is that when it rains it pours. Let me catch you on what we’ve been up to.
We’ve been monkeying around a bit.
Sam the Elf has been making his appearance all over the place. Even toasting marshmallows.
We got our Christmas tree. Always puts a smile on my face. “Can we decorate it now? When are we going to decorate? How about now? Can we put the candy canes on yet?” Oye.
And a wreath, of course.
We’ve been passing out with all this festive excitement. The boys new game to play is “Santa.” I seriously came into the living room to tell them that dinner was ready and half the toy room was under the tree! [I wish I got a picture of that]
And we’ve “made mischief of one kind or another.”
I’ll get back into the swing of things soon. All this holiday hoopla is exhausting. How are your holidays going?
Glad to have you back blogging! It is definitely a tough time of year to stick with it. Looks like you’ve been having tons of holiday fun with your little ones…that’s the most important thing to focus on during the holidays. 🙂
