Great advice for a new school year! Do the boys start soon?
September 1st. They’re not too thrilled that it’s coming up quickly.
If it will help, you can tell them that most kids in Arizona are starting tomorrow, August 10, and some have already been in school since the end of July! I imagine you’ve seen a push in testing, less recess, and more homework since your oldest son started school. Last year, when I asked my 6-year-olds in faith formation class at church how school was going, one little boy said sadly, “My teacher is very stressed.” It made me sad, too.
